UNIT 3: Assembly  
     

Assembly Assignment 2 Suggested Time: 5 to 6 hours or 3 to 5 class periods.

Marks: Marking Criteria

Learning Outcomes: Students should be able to take skills learned and produce an assembly that demonstrates those skills in a creative solution.

 

 
  1. Make an assembly of your own choosing, of an existing real item. This must be verifiable and easy for you to measure.(check with me if you are unsure)
  2. Choose an item with at least 4 parts.(No Ipods, MP3, pens or pencils.)
  3. Save these parts in a Folder Titled " Assembly_2_Your Last Name "

  4. Create an assembly using the parts you have created.
  5. Make a drawing showing an exploded view.
  6. Make an animation of the assembly. (Show me your animation)
  7. When you complete the assembly save it as "Assembly_2_yourlastname_initial"
  8. Save it and also have a back up.
  9. Turn it in when requested.
