Assembly:  Suggested Time: 5 Sessions of 45 minutes
   
 
Learning Outcomes:
  • To understand advanced level drafting assemblies.

 
 

 

Complete the attached assembly drawing : Assembly Drawing

  • Do an Orthographic drawing of each part. (Save each part in a folder with correct name. Keep the parts together in folder with assembly.)
  • Make an assembly drawing with ballooned parts numbers.
  • Make an exploded view with the same ballooned parts numbers.
  • Make a parts list.
  • List material.
  • Complete title blocks according to standards.
  • Print a full set of drawings to hand in.
  • Make an animation of the assembly and show it to Mrs. Beck.

Save parts, assembly and drawings in a folder called Assm_Lastname_Initial .
