Drafting Level 2 Group Project

Group Project:  Suggested Time: 10 Sessions of 45 minutes

Learning Outcomes:

• To understand advanced level drafting assemblies and coordinating group projects.
• To understand organizational skills and responsibility taken to complete a project as a group.

Project criteria:

1. Six or more parts of complex construction.
2. An existing product or an invention of your own.
3. Do an Orthographic drawing of each part. (Save each part in a folder with correct name. Keep the parts together in folder with assembly.)
4. Make an assembly drawing with ballooned parts numbers.
5. Make a parts list and list of materials.
6. Complete title blocks according to standards.
7. Do a rendering of your project
8. Make a colored presentation brochure or display board.
