Drafting Level II Software

Software  Suggested Time: 10 Sessions of 45 minutes

Learning Outcomes:

• To become proficient using drafting software (Solid Edge).

Reviewing Software :

As Level II students you are expected to be capable of using Solid Edge software. For some students it has been more than a year since you took drafting or your skill levels were weak finishing Level I, so review maybe necessary. It is the responsibility of the student to review all tutorials and make sure they are proficient with the software so they are capable of doing Level II work.

Assembly Tutorials:

1. Creating a Tube Part with Express Route.
2. Constructing a Weldment.
3. Building a Family of Assemblies.
4. Modeling a Cover Associatively within Assembly

Drawing Tutorials:

1. Detailing Drawings with Solid Edge
2. Creating Schematic Diagrams.
3. Modeling Parts From Drawing Views
4. Creating Hole Tables in detailed drawings.

Sheet Metal Tutorials:

1. Introduction to sheet metal.
2. Creating a Sensor.
3. Creating a Feature Library.
4. Modeling Contour Flanges in Solid Edge.

Complete all 12 Tutorials and save them to you folder.

Save them as Tutorial_1_Lastname_Initial
