The Aboriginal Program at WJ Mouat is amazing! Michele Schroeder, a citizen of Metis Nation BC, champions the program and runs a varitey of activites which provide students with many opportunities to experience Aboriginal culture... not just read about it! An invaluable part of this program is to connect students with Aboriginal resources within the community at large.

Activites Include:

•Horse back riding
•Archery
•Kayaking
•Touring Cultural Centres (Osoyoos & Whistler)
•Gr. 12 Quadra Island Aboriginal Immersion Trip
•Family Tree discovery
•Daily support (onsite centre)
