This page is designed to provide information to students and parents regarding the course planning and selection process. Students need to plan their next school year by selecting courses to fulfill the
Graduation Requirements, as prescribed by the
Ministry of Education, and prerequisites for their educational program.
In early February, W.J. Mouat
counsellors will be visiting classrooms in the school to discuss course selection for next year. Students will be provided with a selection handout BUT are required to examine our online course descriptions and other resources in order to plan effectively for their next year.
On this webpage, please scroll down to the grade that you will be entering next year and click on the appropriate link to see the program of studies from which you must select courses. You will also be able to access all course descriptions in that section as well.
NOTE: All sections have been updated for the 2012/2013 school year effective January 31st, 2012.

Ministry of Education Graduation Requirements.

Grade 11 Course Selection Options

Grade 11 students are required to take a program of courses based on the
Ministry of Education Graduation Requirement criteria.
1. Print & complete the Course Selection Form.
2. Submit your completed form to the
Counsellors for approval.

Grade 12 Course Selection Options

Grade 12 students are required to take a program of courses based on the
Ministry of Education Graduation Requirements criteria. Grade 12 students are also eligible to take any course numbered "11" (see
Grade 11 Course Selection Options).
1. Print & complete the Course Selection Form.
2. Submit your completed form to the
Counselling Centre for approval.
NOTE: Study Blocks are limited to a maximum of ONE PER YEAR. The application form available from the
Counselling Centre must be completed and attached to the appropriate Course Selection form for approval.
